What does ISO:14001 certification mean?

Chemical Reduction Program

HADPRO process ensures chemical applications used in the hood cleaning processes to reduce toxins, eliminate heavy chemical residue in kitchen exhaust systems, and most efficiently degrease and clean hood and ducts. For HADPRO, less is more when it comes to chemical usage.

Water Waste Disposal

HADPRO professionals dispose of all waste water in approved grease filtering drains, ensuring that our liquid by-products do not endanger public water sources.

Even Our Back Office Has Gone Green!

From recycling bins to automatic lights-out hours, HADPRO’s back office reduces the company’s carbon footprint. Technological innovations such as scheduling service, job status checking, online billing to reduce paper use and the proper labeling and storing of cleaning agents, HADPRO works in a environmentally responsible manner.

HADPRO’s Four Phase Process

Plan:  Establish objectives and processes.

Prior to implementing ISO:14001, an initial review or gap analysis of the HADPRO’s processes and products was conducted. This review assisted HADPRO in establishing its specific environmental objectives for the hood and duct cleaning processes. These goals included benchmarks for relevant legal certification requirements for HADPRO clients.

Do:  Implement the processes.

During this stage, HADPRO identified the members of the organization responsible for the ISO:14001 implementation and control. This includes documentation of all HADPRO procedures and processes; including operational and documentation control, the establishment of emergency procedures and responses, and the education of employees.

Communication and participation across all levels of the HADPRO is a vital part of the implementation phase, with the effectiveness of the Emergency Management System being dependant on active involvement from all employees.

Check:  Measure and monitor the processes.  Report results.

During the checking stage, HADPRO performance is monitored and periodically measured to ensure environmental targets and objectives are being met. In addition, HADPRO internally conducts audits to ensure whether the ISO:14001 system is being implemented properly.

Act:  Take action to improve performance.

In the final stage, HADPRO conducts management reviews to ensure that objectives are being met and that processes are reactive to changing circumstances, such as legal requirements.
